put out what's hot and what's Poppin type of album.

think. He's gonna make a hole drill

album when it's only 12 songs on that.

So I think in this era of social media and the internet and

Tick-Tock it kind of takes away from the quality in the Artistry

and a great that these people can be because their social

80s or is because club. Music is only just turning 30

years old, and club. Dancing is just about the same

different name. It was F 0 f, which is friend to

When he went to Morgan, he wanted to find the best dances

across the city. The only reason why he did that

was because he knew certain dances.

And he felt like I know it's more of y'all.

I need to find somebody who's better than y'all and I want to

see it. I want to be able to see The

battle aspect on a stage with the bright lights.

He initially just wanted to make a WrestleMania.

Him being a wrestling fan and make sense.

He want to make a WrestleMania, not a SummerSlam, not Extreme

Rules, not in your house. For some of you old enough to

remember that, I remember, you know, he wanted to make a

WrestleMania for Baltimore Club dancers, but the stipulation was

only, you had to dance. The club music.

It was never stated that you had to just only club dance.

And a lot of people don't even pay that, no mind, or they get

it messed up, like, they think all we do is Club names.

So speaking of club dance, tell us a little bit about the

upcoming competition. We have coming up in about two

weeks, right? Yeah.

So king of Baltimore is a competition has been running for

years. Now, since 2007 on the first was

in 2007, king of Baltimore is Like I said the Wrestlemania of

Club Music club dancing, in general, if you feel like you

have what it takes to compete, and a one-on-one atmosphere, I

say, go for it. The way it's structured and

broke down is NCAA bracket, top 16, we do preliminary rounds,

preliminary rounds. Specifically is 45 to a minute

long and it's a solo basically. What you do is it's an audition

to get into the competition. Some people don't like that

aspect of it, they feel like oh well I'm a battle.

I should just be able to come there and just bring my name out

of a hat. And I bet whoever it doesn't

work that way. You have to have structure in

these type of things and we strive to make sure we keep that

structure when we doing that. Yes, going to Graffiti.

A lie is cool and just battling randomly one-on-one.

That's how it was. We try to give that atmosphere

for them because they don't have clubs now, right?

That's what we had and we was partying, you see?

- Club it really was like back in the 80s like breaking.

It was like so excited. Yeah.

Oh you only see somebody stuck. It was really like that back

then but now they don't have that.

So we try to provide that for them with the best of our

capability. But the competition for me, In a

nutshell has always been one of the greatest things that was

brought to the city for a dancer.

Dancers come from far and wide just to see who's in this

competition. People come back home who moved

away just to come to see the competition.

In their mind, they're thinking, oh, it's always going to be on.

We're going to see card and he's going to he's going to bed or

we're going to see Brandon whoever and they don't realize

that we really been doing this for 20 years now like holy shit

dancing and you're the second king of Baltimore to win it.

Yeah, fun fact, watching this thing on YouTube is a reason

that started so Les creative because you're not just a dancer

and I think the dancer puts y'all in a box.

Do you feel like people overshadow, your other talents

because they know you or you go viral more for dancing.

Most definitely I feel like when it comes to, what I do on in

particular, as far as whether if I'm wrapping, if I'm dancing, if

I feel like drawing or my impeccable social skills,

please, a different person I work in government.

It is true. I know you outside of this mic.

So I'm like, right. I'm just saying, you know, the

like I really know how to communicate with others very

well even though I may not want to because I'm not a people

person, but I have to be because of my profession I have to be

that guy that people run up to you and say, oh my God, you

common fly. What's going on?

fuck away. I can't I can't see myself being

that person anymore. I feel when I was younger

because when I was younger I was a different person.

I was in a different mental state.

I live life differently. We all grow up I had to grow up

24 years old. When I realized, I can't view

everybody in a - who just wants to come up to me and speak to

me, or just wants to see me dance.

I hate that to this day, I still hate it.

But But I understand it more now I think in the organization that

we're all the part of together, I think in a sense of that is it

creates a different view of us as a whole and especially you

because everybody just looks like your name, like he's so

stonefish, he's such a statue, he doesn't.

So then when he see a day like, oh shit, like well, some people

actually know, because I've been told multiple times a day

stalked him on social media, so they did.

In realize like he was as talented as he was then in men

and women. Yeah, have told me like whoa,

yeah, it's not even that it's just like

great and they're great at it. Look what y'all do.

What y'all do even with this outside of this?

Yeah, you guys do so much other things that people really don't
